Since I was getting confused about where was it taking me, I decided to take a step back and list my domains:

With that in mind, I quickly brainstormed some ideas to bring to class and discuss:

1) Is a Wonderful World Kit:

You can download  from internet a series of templates for you to use and customize the space around you. Then, you take a picture, upload to the website, and contribute to the library.

It can also work on the other way: you take a picture of the place you would like to change, upload to the website, recreate it using the flash tools and then you can post to the library.

2) Letters to strangers

You login on the website and you will receive a letter from someone (you will never know who). You will have to answer the letter, but the person who will receive it, will be another person, and you will never know who this person would be either. It goes with the concept that we are always more comfortable to tell our secrets to strangers.

3) Projections on the City

Since not all the cities is provided with nature interaction, we could artificially reproduce it. Projections could be place against walls in the city and people would be able to interact with birds, butterflies and sounds, inside their urban space.

4) PMS Network

Acute PMS is a problem of more than 10% of the female population, and most part of them don’t even know about it. It can be expressed in different ways, according to the person, and it is usually underestimated. This could be a place to inform these women, and create a forum for us to share out thoughts when we are in those days that nobody can stand us, not even ourselves.

5) The “KindLab”

This idea is pretty much based on Jessica’s Ocean Lab. I would like to make small experimentations about kindness (motion graphics, games, texts).

6) Cities are Feelings

Emotional cities is a project where you can relate how you are feeling to a city. It is measured in a scale, according to the color and expression. I was wondering if we could take this concept further and you could create your own cities according to your relationships and partnerships.

7) The Kind Game

Someone is extremely kind to you, and gives you a card. You have to check the website, and put the code on the card. There you will be able to see what gestures were already taken through the same chain and get to choose what you are going to do next. You have time constraint. The “group” who finishes the cycle of 10 first wins. So if you decide to break the chain, you must know that you are going to let other people down.

8) Others:

  • one thing you have never done before per day
  • what I’m looking now

FEEDBACK:

  • Most difficult part seams how we are pooling people to use it
  • natural interaction, should search for it
  • add PHILANTHROPY to domain
  • define interactivity
  • invest in more performance prototypes
  • Smiling at the subway: most effective
  • ask strangers to help me when prototyping
  • record all prototypes
  • my prototypes are more about the space, when they should lead more towards doing nice things to the others.
  • List random acts of kindness

Feedback:

  • How objects can tell stories
  • interview people about what objects are meaningful to them
  • How to make an object that can relate to everyone
  • what about lost objects
  • many advertisement practices are using interactive and ARG principles
  • the scale of the city may influence people’s reaction
  • for prototyping, chose a smaller scale
  • what is the core of kindness?
  • analyze the difference from Rio to NY and think about why is this important to me
  • be explicit about it
  • how do people take out their frustration?
